About Cottonwood Park

Cottonwood Park is a park located in Richardson, Texas. It has 421 acres of woodlands and natural habitat. You can enjoy the many biking and hiking trails the park has to offer. The Wood Bridge allows you to cross over what used to be the town’s first creek bed. Make sure to stop by the Cottonwood Cafe after your day of exploration! The creek that originally ran next to Cottonwood Park became somewhat polluted with dirt runoff from nearby construction. Volunteers were able to raise enough money for the city council to sweep up all of the dirt and replace it with plants and compost-boosting mulch. If you’re looking for a place near DFW Airport, this is a great location!”
