Prairie Creek Park is an 81-acre park that is located in Richardson, TX near South Belt Line and Arapaho. The park has a number of amenities including a softball field, a playground, a picnic shelter, a bike trail and two ponds. The bike trail at Prairie Creek Park is paved and contains scenic views. Prairie Creek Park offers a variety of services to the public including eight open play areas with swings and slides for children under 40 inches tall as well as benches, picnic tables and grills. Park hours are from 8 am to 9 pm Monday through Friday. There is no fee for parking at this park on weekdays from April 1st through Labor Day.
