West Plano, Texas

West Plano is a suburb in the City of Plano, Texas. The population had risen to 4,067 at the 2010 Census. It is home to the Prestonwood Baptist Church and many of Plano’s major businesses. West Plano has become one of the most affluent parts of the city. The term “West Plano” generally refers to the part of the city that is west of SH 121, which includes the neighborhoods surrounding Windhaven and Custer roads. Areas included are subdivisions such as The Hills of Indian Creek, Preston Hollow, Hillcrest Park, Westridge Heights, Ridgemere, Arapaho Bend, Indian Creek, Autumn Brook Estates, Autumn Park, The Farm at Parker’s Creek, and others. The term “Plano” refers to the city as a whole.
