Addiction in the military
Addiction is a prevalent disease, regardless of any professional circumstance. In fact, in 2018 alone, addiction killed over 67 thousand people. That is 66% more deaths than the entire death count for the military in its entire war against Afghanistan. [1] When we understand these numbers, we start to realize that there is a war raging inside our country. However, this enemy is more elusive, available, and socially acceptable.
