Dallas Zoo is a local, family-owned zoo that features more than 1,300 plant and animal species, including a new giraffe habitat. The Dallas zoo offers free admission for children starting Tuesday, July 2 through Friday, July 5. It’s a way to celebrate America’s birthday and be able to get up close and personal with some of the animals from around the world. The Dallas Zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, excluding Tuesday, July 3 when they close at 8:30 p.m., and Wednesday through Friday of this week where they close at 7:30 p.m.
