Located in Dallas, Texas, the Perot Museum of Nature and Science is a museum that focuses on natural and physical sciences. Perot Museum is an educational institution with a foundation to serve as trustees for Dallas citizens which provides opportunities for enjoyment and learning by embracing natural history in all its forms. The museum first opened in Victory Park, a park located in Dallas’ Arts District. The museum is divided up into two major buildings: the older permanent building and the newer addition across from it. This is becoming a common set-up for many museums to have their main attractions within reach but decide to add to the original building as a result of its popularity.
