Arbor Hills Nature Preserve is a nature preserve located in Plano, TX. The preserve hosts some of the most diverse wildlife habitats and plant communities found in central Texas. The diverse park provides refuge for an amazing 150 species of birds. It also offers public access to the ecological treasures of our region. Wildlife you can see at Arbor Hills includes whitetail deer, bobcat, red fox, coyote, porcupine, armadillo, and raccoon. The hiking trails are home to a variety of lizards and snakes as well as amphibians like frogs and salamanders. Occasionally rattlesnakes may be seen in the preserve’s open fields.
